The Presiding Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC), Pastor Tunde Bakare, has urged Nigerians, especially Christians, who are aggrieved over the All Progressives Congress (APC) Muslim-Muslim ticket to upgrade the national conversation from politics to governance.
He also advised the people to deemphasise religious discussion on the issue and not put much emphasis on the same faith ticket. The APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had decided to float the option but Bakare charged Church leaders to approach the issue with civility, clarity and with continued hope in the possibilities of a united Nigeria.
